Congratulations to the dedicated grooming crew who managed to work and rework the limited snow to maintain excellent trails over the course of the season. This takes many hours of dedication and perserverance, ususally in the coldest and darkest hours of the day and night. Thanks
We are looking for a handyman/woman to spare a couple of hours to refurbish a stand alone trail head sign in order that we can mount trail maps, a sign in book, and other news at the Trail Head / Parking lot. The Club will purchase all the necessary materials. Much of the work could be done over the course of a normal Saturday afternoon JR session. We are hoping to have this done as early as possible. Please contact Trails Coordinator Pat Kirkham at trails@kanatanordic.ca.

The Club grooms publicly accessible trails at Riverfront Park and on the NCC Western Greenbelt. Riverfront Park trails are generally given priority. All work is completed by volunteers.
We often are asked where users can pay for trail use. Currently we have no system in place to buy a day pass or pay a trail fee. We do encourage those that wish to support trail grooming and provide financial assistance to cover operating expenses and potentially make trail improvements in the future, to purchase a family or individual membership. Simply go to the registration page and register on-line without selecting any programs.

Check here regularly during the ski season for current conditions on the trails we groom at the Bonnenfant Centre (Y Camp) and Riverfront Park. Please note that as with most trail systems, all skiers who use these trails do so at their own risk. Kanata Nordic also ocassionally grooms NCC Greenbelt trails and will post those conditions as well when we do. For trail maps and general trail use information visit the Trails page.
