Notice of Annual General Meeting of Kanata Nordic (Kanata Cross Country Ski Club) 2016
The Annual General Meeting of Kanata Nordic (Kanata Cross Country Ski Club) will be convened on Tuesday, April 05, 2016 at 7 PM at the Ottawa Public Library (Beaverbrook Branch – Room B on the Main floor) immediately beside the Mlack Center and adjacent to the Earl of March High School.
All members are welcome and are encouraged to attend the Annual General Meeting.
One of the business items will be the election of members of the Executive who may be nominated by any adult club member in good standing at the date of the Meeting. A slate of the proposed Executive Members will be included with the agenda. All positions are open to nomination; see the list at the end of this notice for vacant positions.
Further take notice that two amendments will be proposed for the Bylaws:
- That the AGM can be convened prior to April 30 (instead of the current date of March 31) and;
- That the position of Coordinator of Volunteers be included as a voting member of the Executive.
The agenda will also include reports from the members of the Executive summarizing the events of the past year, and such other business as may be properly brought before the meeting.

Please note: Based on information provided as of the date of posting this notice, the following positions on the Executive will become vacant as of the date of the AGM April 05, 2016: A
- Adult Ski Coordinator
- Events Coordinator
- Secretary
- Coordinator of Volunteers
- Vice-President or President.
