Looking for an outside volunteer opportunity that isn't on skis? We have just the volunteer role for you! We are looking for a few volunteers to help shovel access paths at WCParks. Specifically: Cabins, and an access path from the parking areas. Volunteer at Canadian Eastern Championship

The Canadian Eastern Championship (February 5 to 7 2016) being held at Nakkertok this weekend is THE largest competitive cross-country race event in Canada with over 700 competitors from Midget to Open categories from all provinces and territories. The event again has an organizing committee which is a joint initiative of clubs in the Ottawa-Gatineau cross-country ski community: Nakkertok Nordic, Club Skinouk, Chelsea Nordiq, Kanata Nordic, and XC Chelsea Masters. The 2016 Kanata Nordic Pretzel Sprint Race is scheduled for Sunday January 17 2016. There are many jobs and tasks for which we need Volunteers in order to make this event a success. Get ready for one of the best x-c skiing events of the year in Canada!
