National Capital Division’s AGM, April 22, 2018

The NCD serves all 15 clubs in the National Capital Region and ... More

You know how to ski. Now here’s how to shoot!

Kanata Nordic has a small Biathlon Bears program (youth racers who shoot air rifles) that it's been piloting for a few seasons. Here's an article from one of our current biathletes, along with photos from the Coupe Quebec/Ontario Cup biathlon race hosted by Chelsea Nordiq Feb 24-25, 2018. Ottawa Citizen article on ski trails in the area

December 26, 2017: "Happy trails: Place where you can XC ski, right in Ottawa" by Matthew Pearson. But what if you: a) don’t have a car or b) only have a short window of time in which to squeeze in a skinny ski? Well, ... More

Magic of Lights at Wesley Clover Parks, Nov 17, 2017 – Jan 6, 2018

Once again this year the holiday season will be ‘illuminated’ by the Magic of Lights display in the evenings. It’s a new name and expanded route through the campground roads. When the display is operational there is NO SKIER OR VEHICLE ACCESS to the roads in use for it, even during the daytime. This is for your personal safety. Kanata Nordic has groomed new bypass trails so that skiers can enjoy loops and not dead-end at a road. Please help Kanata Nordic be a good tenant of the Parks by ...
