Racer Training – Week of Dec-19th and Beyond

  • Tuesday Dec-21st – 6:30 pm – Riverfront Park – skating – (Harris & Steve & maybe Mike)
  • Thursday Dec-23st – 6:30 pm –Riverfront Park –  skating – Anyone with classic skis should bring classic and skating skis & poles – (Mike & Steve)
  • Saturday Dec 25th – 8:00 am – P6 Gatineau Park – (Harris, Mike & Steve) (Just kidding!!)
  • Sunday Dec 26th – 9:00 am – Boxing Day Burn Off – this is a fun skate race at Nakkertok South –  www.nakkertok.ca –    http://www.xcottawa.ca/articles.php?id=2161 .  If you intend to go and need help with waxing let us know and we will try to find a way to help you out.
  • Monday Dec 27th – 8:30 am – P6 Gatineau Park (technique and location TBA).  Mike & Harris are off for the week, so we can arrange some ride sharing if needed.
  • Tuesday Dec-28th – 6:30 pm – Riverfront Park – (Harris & Steve – maybe Mike)
  • Thursday Dec-29th – 6:30 pm – Riverfront Park – (Mike & Steve)  Given limited snow, technique will be skating.
  • Friday Dec-31st – 8:30 am – Gatineau Park – (Harris & Mike & maybe Steve) – Location P6 –  Technique will be classic;  for those with skate skis only technique is skating of course.
  • Sunday Jan-2nd-2011 – 9:00 am – Gatineau Park –  (location TBA).
