Training Week of January 3rd

  • Tuesday January 4th, 6:30:  Interval training at Kanata Recreation Complex (Steve & Harris).  Bring hiking poles or as close as possible.  Running or hiking shoes.  Meet near electrical boxes near the path beyond the bottom of the toboggan hill.
  • Thursday January 6th, 6:30  Kanata Rec Complex, bring hiking poles, running or hiking shoes.  Relays, intervals and some variation of soccer, football or other to suit the conditions. (Mike & Steve)
  • Saturday January 8th, 8:30 am.:  Joint training session with Chelsea Nordiq including time trial (4-5 km for juveniles, 2-3 km for midget).  Technique is skate.  Location is P5. 
  • Saturday January 8th, 1:15 (Learn to Train):  Riverfront Park, bring your skate skis and hope the snow keeps falling, but just in case bring running shoes and hiking boots.
