We had an excellent season and to wrap it up an  exceptional spring skiing season to boot. April is traditionally our month of rest and time to recharge the batteries and think of summer activities. Week of March 7th

We will not call it training for the rest of the season, let's just get out and enjoy the snow, warmer temperatures and longer daylight hours. OFFSSA

Kanata Nordic athletes did well to qualify for the OFFSSA  (Ontario High School) Nordic championships recently held at Nakkertok.  Full Results of the individual time trials:  http://www.zone4.ca/results.asp?id=3753 KN athletes did very well racing in filelds of 150 to 160 skiers in each category with many of the athletes being in the younger age group withing their category.  Congratulations on an excellent effort. Training Week of Feb 21

It has been a great week to be a coach for such a great bunch of athletes.  Excellent effort all around with some great achievements at the Gatineau Loppet and OFSSA qualifying; appreciating that it is 90% athlete, and 10% coaching. Many of our skiers skied on Monday in the NCSSA event and Wednesday in the EOSSA nordic races.  I do not have results for everyone and am anxious to hear. An amazing show of skiing, effort and improvement at the Kanata Sprints yesterday.  Thank you to all who participated and helped out.
