Ski Technique Clinics
Looking for tips and tricks to enhance your ski skills?
Our Ski Technique Clinics are for Kanata Nordic members only! We are offering a limited number of clinics this season, due to limited instructor availability. These sessions are available to members on a first come, first serve basis. Most clinics will run 60 to 90 mins.
Before signing-up please keep the following in mind:
- you must be a Kanata Nordic 2025-26 season pass holder
- you must be 16 years of age or older
- you must have all the necessary ski equipment
- you must not be currently attending Kanata Nordic ski lessons (these one-time clinics are intended for members who are on waitlists and/or not in lessons)
- you will be asked for your 7 digit membership number which can be found in the Zone4 membership registration receipt email
- please only sign-up for one clinic so more members can participate
All technique clinics are dependent on weather and snow conditions. If your clinic is canceled due to poor conditions, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Beginner Classic Ski Techniques
Didn’t get into our Beginner Classic program for Adults? Join experienced instructor Richard Batty for a clinic designed for new skiers, classic ski technique.
Session will be Fri Feb 20, 7:30 – 9 pm. This session will take place at the Equestrian Trail setting, 401 Corkstown Road. This clinic will cover the basics to get you on your way to confidently explore our local trails. SIGN UP
Introducing Skate Ski Technique
Looking to learn some skate ski basics? Join experienced instructor Richard Batty, for a clinic designed for skiers wishing to explore Skate Ski technique.
Session will be Wed Feb 18, 7:30 – 9 pm at the Equestrian Trail setting, 401 Corkstown Rd. Skiers must have their own skis, boots, poles. SIGN UP
