We are very thankful for the generous support of our many volunteers! To show our appreciation to those who have contributed to the 2023-’24 ski season, we are hosting an appreciation event for members and their families!

We will have food, drinks and prizes for the adults. There will be an egg hunt, games, prizes and loot bags for the children. All members are welcome!

Do you have a skier graduating from the Jack Rabbit Program? You will have an opportunity to learn about the Kanata Nordic Racing Team and/or Teen Skate!

Friday Night Ski & Social in the Chalet!

Grab your family or a friend for a Friday night ski this winter! Why not bring your dinner and spend time in our warm cabin meeting and sharing with other club members?

Ski for Heart 2024 – Sunday, February 25th, 2024

CANCELLED due to very marginal trail conditions.

February is Heart Month, and Kanata Nordic will be hosting a club event to promote heart health and encourage all members to get out on their skis and be active. LEARN MORE

Kanata Nordic Corkstown Classic 2024 – Sunday, February 11, 2024

This event featured distances for Open (adult and U18), U16, U12-U14 and U8-U10 skiers. After the competitive morning races the club hosted a Fun Loppet and Kids Scramble for member. LEARN MORE

Waxing Demos – January 22 & February 12, 2024

Chris Lindsey facilitated 2 ski waxing demonstrations for club members. Chris has waxed skis as a technician on the World Cup circuit and demonstrated beginner and intermediate waxing techniques.

Rust Remover Clinics – January & February, 2024

Kanata Nordic hosted Rust Remover clinics for members during Jan/Feb 2024. These were intended to provide tips and tricks to enhance ski skills. LEARN MORE

Kanata Nordic Corkstown Classic 2023 – Sunday February 12, 2023

On Sunday February 12, 2023 Kanata Nordic hosted an NCD points series classic technique race and a Club Fun event which included a Scramble event for our youngest skiers. It was a blast! See for yourselves in this Corkstown video

Kanata Nordic is looking forward to next year’s edition, and hopes that our amazing crew of volunteers will be back as well – they helped make this event a truly big success.
