February 11, 2012 - Silver Spoon - Deep River
With the Silver Spoon sandwiched between the NCSSAA and EOSSAA high school qualifier races only a small KN group participated in this year's Silver Spoon while the others stayed home for some low intensity training. With ideal conditions by race time two athletes and four old guys took to the trails. Well done all. Results are posted at http://www.sportstats.ca/

1. Parking - There are 2 parking areas open, the inner lot and the main lot. To get to the inner lot drive through the gate past the outer lot and turn left. We encourage families with small children to park in the inner lot as there will be less traffic there.
2. Overflow parking - If both lots are full, people can park on the road but we would encourage them to park PAST (north of) the entry to the main parking lot to avoid fast moving cars coming from the turn. If members without children ...

The forecast is calling for 6 C and 30 mm of rain over the next 24 hrs. We don't normally cancel practices except under most extreme conditions but we will if necessary this week. If we decide to cancel you will receive a separate email, otherwise go straight to the gathering spot at Innovation Drive. It's not likely that we will have to cancel though.
