Letter from National Capital Division (NCD) President, Thom Lyon
To our Local XC-Ski Clubs,
I’m writing to inform you of the upcoming NCD AGM and to encourage you to encourage volunteers from within each of your clubs for the board. The volunteer effort required for NCD board positions are relatively small and the few meetings during a year are in a warm, comfortable room (Hopefully this makes the roles more appealing).
The NCD serves all 15 clubs in the National Capital Region and ...

Discover upgrades to our trail network plus changes to access points and hours
Now that the ski season is well underway, we’re thrilled to be back on the boards and hitting the trails. This year we’ve made many upgrades to our trail network, as well as some changes to access points and hours.
Some of the updates were made due to changes to the annual Magic of Lights display, which is a significant event for Wesley Clover Parks and a fundraiser for the Ottawa Senators Foundation.

All trails and fields leading from 401 Corkstown Road are CLOSED for skiing. Trails leading from 411 Corkstown Road are CLOSED or Fair, at best.

The snow dances worked and winter has finally arrived in the capital. The trails have been groomed (thanks to our dedicated volunteer groomers) and we are excited to begin our first official ski season at WCParks with a growing trail network groomed for classic skiing, skate skiing and snowshoeing.
